Dr. Eileen M. Nugent received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998 where she was active in, and served as president of, the Undergraduate American Academy of Osteopathy (UAAO). She was awarded a Teaching Fellowship in Anatomy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in 1997.  She served her internship and residency in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Mercy General Health Partners in Muskegon, Michigan within the Statewide Campus System of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Nugent is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice and the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Osteopathy and The Osteopathic Cranial Academy.
Throughout her practice of over twenty years, Dr. Nugent has provided Adult Family Medicine services while simultaneously performing Specialty care in the manual art of medicine; namely Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). Dr. Nugent has transitioned from this dual role of Primary Care Physician / Osteopathic Manipulation Specialist, and is now providing medical service exclusively in the manual art of Traditional Osteopathy as an NMM-OMM Board Certified Specialist, treating patients of all ages from the newly born to the elderly; including women in pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
